A.  Tyre pressures are very important to the handling characteristics of your vehicle. You must ensure that these are checked regularly in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Please refer to the plaque on the inside of the driver's door pillar, which will indicate the tyre pressures for your particular vehicle. Alternatively, consult your local BMW Dealership for assistance.

A.  BMW recommend Castrol. Check the owner's manual, which will indicate the correct oil grade to be used in your vehicle. Alternatively, contact the Parts Department at your local BMW Dealership, who will be able to supply the correct oil for your vehicle.

A.  You will need to book your BMW into your nearest BMW Dealership, where they will be able to de-activate it on your behalf. You can find your nearest dealer by using the "Find a dealer" link.

If you nevertheless need to fit a child restraint system on the front passenger's seat, the front passenger's airbag must be deactivated. A.  The BMW child seats are designed to use the ISOFIX attachments. If the child seat is fitted correctly using the ISOFIX attachments, then there is no need to have the rear side airbags deactivated. However, these can be deactivated if required.
